These Terms of Service govern use of the Device Minder monitoring platform, including related alerting, notification, telemetry, and reporting services.

Use of Service

Device Minder is intended for monitoring equipment, control panels, wastewater lift stations, pump stations, and other remote infrastructure. Users are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information, notification settings, and appropriate response procedures.

Alerts and Notifications

Device Minder may send alerts by SMS, email, browser notification, or other configured methods. Alerts are based on telemetry, device status, and user-configured rules. Notification delivery may depend on third-party carriers, internet service, user device settings, and other factors outside our control.

SMS Terms

By opting in to SMS notifications, recipients agree to receive operational messages from Device Minder related to equipment alerts, alarm notifications, device status updates, communication failures, and monitoring-related events.

Message frequency varies based on equipment activity and alert conditions. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

No Marketing Messages

Device Minder SMS messages are transactional and operational in nature. Device Minder does not use SMS notifications for marketing, promotional, or advertising purposes.

Limitation of Liability

Device Minder is a monitoring and notification tool. It does not replace proper maintenance, inspection, emergency response planning, or direct equipment supervision. Users remain responsible for responding to alerts and maintaining monitored systems.
